The Centurion Foundation of University City High School, in association with the Cross Country Team and in cooperation with High School, present a one hour talk on suicide prevention. The speaker is Rachel Liber, a former manager at a Suicide Prevention Center in L.A. and current ASIST trainer with experience with crisis line staff, social workers and many more.
The talk will cover questions like:
- What should I know about suicide?
- How can I assess someone’s current suicide risk?
- What are resources for a person at risk? For me as a helper?
